How to Book Your Local Tip Visit
- âś… Mandatory Booking (All Vehicles): You must book a slot for EVERY visit to the Inverurie and Westhill recycling centres.
- đźš› Van & Trailer Booking: Booking is required at all 15 sites if you are using a commercial-style vehicle or trailer.
- đźš— Standard Cars: No booking is required for cars at the other 13 regional locations.

⚠️ Current Textile Recycling Restrictions
Textile recycling is currently restricted at several local tips. Clothing and textile banks are NOT accepted at:
- Westhill
- Stonehaven
- Portlethen
- Laurencekirk
- Inverurie
- Ellon
- Banchory
- Alford
Note: Nathan’s Wastesavers is currently reintroducing textile banks; check local signage for live updates.
Essential Rules for Using the Dump
- Household Waste Only: Trade waste, business disposal, and industrial materials are strictly prohibited.
- Pedestrian Access: Vehicle-free slots (12:00 PM – 12:30 PM) allow safe access for those on foot or bicycle.
- Sorting Materials: Pre-sort your waste to ensure you can complete your visit within the allocated 15-minute window.
Commonly Accepted Materials
Standard recycling centres across Aberdeenshire accept: Electrical Goods (WEEE), Garden Waste, Cardboard, Wood, Household Batteries, Glass, and Plastic.
