Check your vehicle’s annual allowance

The household allowance is shared across limited vehicle types: normally 24 visits, with six for horse boxes or towable horse trailers and 12 for a car-derived van towing a trailer. The allowance year runs from 1 April to 31 March.

Arrival windows depend on the centre

At Inverurie and Westhill, arrive within the booked 15-minute window. At other centres, commercial-type vehicle and trailer bookings cover the opening hours of the booked day. Cancel and rebook if the registration or other booking details change.

Use the current textile-bank directory

Clothing-bank provision has changed. Use the council’s current glass and textile directory to find a local bank, and check the centre’s material information before travelling. Keep reusable clothing separate from general waste.
