Q: Can I walk into the recycling centre without a vehicle?

A: Pedestrians, cyclists, and people with bike trailers can visit safely between 12pm and 12.30pm. Outside this window, the site is only accessible by vehicle to avoid traffic hazards and spills.

Q: Who is required to book before coming?

A: Only commercial vehicles and trailers must schedule a visit in advance due to limits on the number of bookings. Regular cars do not need to pre-book and can visit during normal hours.

Q: What types of items can I bring to recycle?

A: The centre accepts batteries, electrical items, engine oil, glass, garden waste, wood, textiles, scrap metal, rubble, and non-recyclable waste. Bulky household items are not accepted at this site.

Q: Can I donate items for charity reuse?

A: Yes, smaller items in good condition, like textiles and electrical items with all parts, may be accepted for reuse through local charities. This helps reduce waste and supports the community.

Q: Is recycling equipment available for collection?

A: You can pick up recycling supplies such as battery bags, indoor and outdoor food caddies, and food waste liners to make home recycling easier.
