Halifax (Lee Bank) Recycling Centre Review

The Halifax Lee Bank site is a bit more compact than others but very efficient once you know the layout. It's located just off Ovenden Road.
The site uses a raised platform system where you park and drop your waste into the large skips below. It follows a one-way loop, with wood, metal, and general waste skips clearly marked along the drive.
Important for Visitors: Halifax is strict on residency. You must show a Calderdale Council Tax bill or a driving license with a local address to gain entry. There is also a 1.8m height barrier at the entrance.
