Q: What materials are accepted at the site?

A: We take a wide range of items including paper, cardboard, glass, metals, plastics, and textiles. We also accept garden waste, cooking/engine oils, and various electronics or appliances (including standard-sized fridges). Certain high-VOC paints are also accepted at specific locations.

Q: Are there items you cannot take?

A: We do not accept hazardous materials like asbestos, gas bottles, or fire extinguishers. Additionally, we cannot take plasterboard, tyres, chemicals, trade-grade paint, or industrial-sized commercial cooling units.

Q: What should I wear when visiting?

A: For your safety, please wear sensible, closed-toe footwear. Sandals and flip-flops are not permitted on site.

Q: Can I bring children with me?

A: Children are welcome to travel to the site but must stay inside the vehicle at all times under adult supervision.

Q: How should I prepare my waste before arrival?

A: Please pre-sort all materials before you arrive. This helps reduce queuing times and ensures items are placed in the correct containers quickly.

Q: Is help available for unloading heavy items?

A: Our staff are unable to help with lifting. If you have bulky items, a maximum of two people may exit the vehicle to unload them manually.
