East London Waste Authority

East London Waste Authority (ELWA) controls four recycling centres. When visiting, bring a recent Council Tax statement or driving licence as proof of address. Assistance with unloading may not be available, so bring someone to help if needed. Children and animals must stay inside vehicles at all times. Vehicles are subject to checks for proof of address and restricted waste. Commercial waste is not accepted at Chigwell Road RRC but can be taken to Frizlands Lane, Gerpins Lane or Jenkins Lane.
