Caerphilly County Borough Council operates six Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) for residents. When visiting, residents must separate recyclable materials from non-recyclable waste, as only items that cannot be recycled should be placed in general waste skips. Proof of residency is required at all sites to ensure access is limited to Caerphilly households. Residents using vans or trailers must obtain the appropriate permit before visiting. Sorting waste at home helps improve recycling rates and site efficiency.
