This is a single-level site where you park alongside the skips. While it doesn't have the massive capacity of the Emerald Street "super-site," it is exceptionally well-managed. It’s perfect for garden waste, small appliances, and general household recycling, often having much shorter queues than the city sites.
Important for Visitors: As a Kirklees site, a Digital Resident Permit is mandatory. Due to the narrow access road and the site's layout, it is not suitable for large trailers. It is open 7 days a week, but the gates often close promptly to manage the flow of industrial traffic nearby.
