Avoca closes on Mondays and has a lunch break

Avoca’s published normal timetable is Tuesday–Thursday 9am–1pm and 2pm–4pm, Friday 9am–1pm and 2pm–3.30pm, and Saturday 9am–1.45pm. It closes on Mondays, Sundays and public holidays. Check current notices before travelling.

Check Rampere separately before a West Wicklow trip

Rampere’s published normal hours differ from Avoca: Monday–Thursday 8.30am–4pm, Friday 9am–3.30pm and Saturday 8.30am–1pm. Sundays and public holidays are closed. Check its leaflet for accepted materials and any temporary service change.

About Wicklow County Council

Wicklow County Council operates five recycling centres for household use only. Commercial waste will not be accepted at these sites. Children must be supervised at all times for safety reasons, and dogs must always be kept on a lead while visiting. All waste should be placed in the correct receptacle provided to ensure proper recycling and disposal. Visitors are reminded that materials should not be removed from the facility once deposited, maintaining safe and effective site operations.
