Allow for last entry and Saturday hours
The published timetable for both Dundalk and Drogheda is Monday–Friday 9.30am–6pm, with the last car admitted at 5.45pm, and Saturday 9am–3pm. The centres close on Sundays and bank holidays. Check current notices before travelling.
Prepare packaging for the correct recycling stream
Bring clean, dry cardboard and paper separately from glass and other materials. The operator’s site lists distinguish bottle glass from unsuitable items such as window glass and Pyrex. Check the chosen centre’s acceptance list before packing a mixed load.
Check bulky and green-waste charges before unloading
The €4 recycling entry fee does not cover every waste type. Green waste, trailers and non-recyclable or bulky items have separate conditions or charges. Contact Dundalk or Drogheda before bringing an item not clearly listed.
