Booking and arrival
Swindon residents must book before taking their own household waste to the recycling centre. Have the booking QR code ready for the entry barrier. The centre is closed on Wednesdays; use the booking calendar to choose an available slot.
The council asks visitors to arrive five to ten minutes before their appointment, and no more than 15 minutes early. Follow the lane signs and staff directions on arrival.
Loading and vehicle restrictions
Sort the materials before travelling and check the council’s accepted-waste guidance. Take no more than two people in the vehicle and avoid bringing children where possible. The household service does not accept trade waste. Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, flatbeds, tippers, caged vehicles and double-axle trailers are excluded.
