One e-permit per household

Register using the household’s Council Tax reference. One residential e-permit can cover up to two vehicles. The council currently provides 104 visits over the permit’s 24-month period; each trip still needs its own booking.

Book or change a visit before travelling

Slots last 20 minutes and may be booked as little as one hour ahead, subject to availability. Use the confirmation-email link to amend or cancel. Residents without internet access can call 0300 123 0900.

Pedestrian bookings use three sites

Troon, Girvan and Maybole accept pedestrian bookings through the e-permit system. Do not assume the same access at Ayr. If you are new to the area and lack a Council Tax reference, contact the council before trying to register.
