Overview
The Royal Borough of Greenwich’s current service identifies one full Reuse and Recycling Centre at Nathan Way in Thamesmead. Our one associated listing covers that facility. The borough also publishes smaller recycling banks and bring sites, including Clara Place and local clothing banks; those are separate collection-point types rather than additional household recycling centres.

Bring original identity and address documents
Nathan Way requires physical photo ID: a valid UK driving licence or passport. Bring separate address evidence, such as the current financial year’s Council Tax bill or a utility bill from the last three months. Photocopies and screenshots of identity documents are not accepted.
Walking handover and hired vehicles
Residents arriving on foot can show address evidence and hand items to entrance staff; they cannot enter the main site. Hired vans must use the neighbouring paid waste-transfer service rather than the household recycling centre. Check that service’s safety-equipment requirements before travelling.
Separate DIY waste and upholstered seating
Qualifying household DIY visits have a four-visits-in-four-weeks allowance, with two 50-litre rubble bags or one item no larger than 2m × 0.75m × 0.7m per visit. Keep upholstered seating separate from other materials and ask staff where it belongs.
