Newport City Council

Newport City Council operates one Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC). Visitors must pre-sort their waste and will have a 15-minute slot to dispose of items. Black bags must not contain recyclable materials. Only cars, passenger vehicles, and small trailers up to 1.6m x 1.2m are allowed, with no vans or commercial vehicles admitted. Access is from the SDR westbound only, at staff discretion. Staff cannot help unload; residents must safely handle their waste themselves.
