Mid and East Antrim Borough Council

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council operates five Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) for residents to responsibly dispose of household waste that cannot be stored at home. These facilities are strictly for domestic use, and commercial waste is not accepted to maintain compliance with regulations and ensure smooth access for householders. Industrial, construction, and agricultural waste are also prohibited. Limited exemptions apply, including domestic cardboard, garden waste, “old for new” items, charity collections, and landlord waste from domestic properties.
