Arrange the correct vehicle booking
Ordinary car appointments can be booked from one hour to 13 days ahead, subject to availability. If you cannot book online, call 020 8274 4902. Vans, trailers and larger vehicles use a separate booking route and have different access times.
Larger-vehicle limits
Eligible vans, pick-ups and qualifying vehicle/trailer combinations can visit up to 12 times a year and bring up to 250kg over six months. The maximum van height is 6ft 4in. Check the full weight, length and vehicle exclusions before hiring or loading.
Compost and other services
Visitors may take up to three bags of compost when available; bring your own bags. If supplies have run out, the council suggests trying again in seven to ten days. Rubbish and recycling containers are not supplied at Garth Road and must be ordered separately.
