Overview
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council lists three public facilities: Ballyogan Civic Recycling Facility, Eden Park Recycling Centre and Shanganagh Recycling Centre. Our three associated records cover the complete current network. The council’s terminology distinguishes Ballyogan’s civic recycling facility from the two recycling centres; bring banks are a separate facility type and are not merged into this count.

Ballyogan offers a paid food-waste drop-off
Households can bring up to 25 litres of food waste to Ballyogan. The council lists a €5 charge when it is brought on its own; the food-waste charge is waived when it accompanies a paid general- or green-waste load. Check the packaging instructions first.
Bring centres have a smaller accepted-material range
Eden Park and Shanganagh provide recycling for specified materials, but they are not substitutes for every Ballyogan disposal service. Check the lists before bringing paint, car batteries, carpets, duvets or other bulky waste.
Bring enough help to unload safely
Ballyogan staff cannot unload heavy items for visitors. Only bring a load you and your helper can manage safely, and check the vehicle restrictions before using a larger van. Follow the council’s rules on children and site access.
