Bring centres and full recycling centres offer different services

The city’s service includes three larger recycling centres and seven community bring centres. Ballymun, North Strand and Ringsend have their own visitor leaflets; a neighbourhood bring centre should not be assumed to accept the same range of waste.

Keep free recycling separate from paid waste

Loads containing only the listed packaging recyclables or household electrical equipment can be brought free of charge. General household waste and bulky items have separate charges. Check the chosen centre’s leaflet before combining different materials in one load.

Check the Ballymun leaflet before a larger clear-out

Ballymun publishes its own opening times, accepted materials and disposal charges. Use those details when planning a bulky or mixed household load, rather than relying on the smaller bring-centre service.
