Arrange eligible vehicle permits
For an eligible van, minibus, pick-up or qualifying trailer, call 01325 405111 before travelling. The free permit records the vehicle and household items being brought. Check its permitted visiting days and times, and bring ID and proof of address when collecting it. A permit cannot override vehicle exclusions.
Household DIY waste
Qualifying waste from DIY work carried out by the occupier can be brought once a week: less than 100 litres fitting into two 50-litre bags, or one item no larger than 2m × 0.75m × 0.7m. Check separate charges and permit restrictions before taking fixtures or construction materials.
Small electricals and reuse
Although pedestrians cannot enter, staff can take a small, easily carried electrical item from someone arriving on foot. The centre also has a collection point for unwanted mobility aids such as walking frames and crutches.
