The online directory lists 11 civic amenity sites, while the council’s 2026 booklet also includes Skibbereen. Check the chosen facility’s information rather than treating our record count as a live operating total.
Allow for lunch closures and different opening days
Cork sites have different weekday and Saturday schedules. The booklet lists a lunchtime closure from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, and centres close on Sundays and bank holidays. Check your site’s row before planning the journey.
Check the tariff for your whole load
The council’s booklet separates entry charges from charges for household refuse, bulky items and other materials. Household electrical equipment is a free recycling stream. Check the relevant material and vehicle category before unloading.
