Overview
Clackmannanshire Council’s current information identifies one household waste recycling centre: Forthbank in Alloa. Our one associated listing covers the complete council facility network. Fife’s Kincardine residents may also use Forthbank under an agreement, but Kincardine is an access arrangement rather than a second site; community recycling points are separate.

Bring photo ID and residency evidence
Forthbank requires photo ID and proof of Clackmannanshire or Kincardine residency. A current full driving licence can satisfy both; otherwise check the accepted document combinations. If carrying a passenger’s household waste, that passenger must provide the required evidence.
Large soil and rubble loads need booking
Book before bringing more than seven containers or bags of soil or rubble. Only one soil or rubble visit is permitted per day. Commercial customers have separate booking and payment arrangements.
Allow for the winter last-entry time
From October to March, Forthbank normally opens daily from 8.30am to 6pm, with last entry at 5.45pm. Check the council’s current page for notices and material restrictions before setting out.
