Book vehicle visits to Hazel Court

Vehicle visits to Hazel Court require an appointment, bookable online or by phone up to two weeks ahead. Both York centres have seasonal hours and Wednesday closures. Last entry is 15 minutes before closing. Check the chosen centre’s current timetable rather than relying on summer hours.

Permits and hire vehicles

Certain larger vehicles and trailers require permits as well as any appointment. Obtain the necessary permit before arranging a visit. Hire-vehicle users should bring the hire agreement and proof of their York address.

Choose the right site for materials and access

Towthorpe does not accept the DIY and chargeable materials directed to Hazel Court and has no pedestrian access. Hazel Court has a separate pedestrian and cycle disposal area with its own material restrictions. Check before taking bulky or hazardous items.

Staff can assist with carrying heavy items, but they cannot unload materials from inside vehicles, so please plan accordingly.
