Black bags must be sorted

Mixed black-bag waste is not accepted unsorted. Remove everything that can be recycled before using the non-recyclable container. Staff may direct you to the sorting area. Bring proof that the waste comes from your Ceredigion home.

Arrange a Day Permit for eligible vehicles

Medium vans, minibuses and commercially owned vehicles need a Day Permit. A permit covers one visit, with no more than one per household per month. Allow at least one full working day and check the earlier weekend and bank-holiday deadlines.

DIY waste has annual quantity limits

The published allowance is five rubble or builders’ sacks of soil, rubble or DIY waste per year, each no heavier than 20kg. Plasterboard has a separate two-sheet annual limit. Check fixture, wood and house-clearance restrictions before loading.
