🛑 Mandatory: Proof of Bristol Residency
The staff will turn you away without these two items:
- Photo ID: Driving licence, Passport, or Student ID.
- Proof of Address: Recent Council Tax bill or Utility bill (paper or digital).

Bristol "Insider" Rules
- Bicycles & Pedestrians: You do NOT need to book if visiting by bike (all sites) or on foot (Hartcliffe Way only). You must still bring ID.
- The "Little Reuse Shop" Trap: You don't need a booking to visit the main shops at Avonmouth/Hartcliffe, but you MUST book to visit the "Little Reuse Shop" at St Philips as it is inside the tip gates.
- Height Restrictions: If your vehicle is over 2.4m high, you can ONLY use the Hartcliffe Way site.
- Hire Vehicles: Select the "Hire Vehicle" option when booking and bring your rental agreement paperwork.
Unique Tip: Bristol Waste runs Reuse Shops on-site. Instead of dumping working tech or decent furniture, head to the donation station. It keeps the city's waste down and supports local community projects!
