Choose Brighton or Hove for your load
Brighton’s site is off Wilson Avenue; Hove’s is off Old Shoreham Road. Their vehicle access and material restrictions differ. Veolia lists tyres as accepted at Hove within its quantity limit, but not at Brighton. Check the individual site guidance before travelling with restricted materials.
Vehicle restrictions
Vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 3,500kg or more are excluded. Luton, flatbed and tipper-bodied commercial vehicles are also excluded. Height barriers and trailer rules differ between the two sites, so check the site-specific requirements before hiring or loading a vehicle.
Assistance during your visit
If you have mobility difficulties, ask a member of staff when you arrive. Veolia’s guidance says staff can help transfer items to the appropriate containers. Follow the signed pedestrian routes and staff directions.
