Paper recycling has been successfully carried out for many years. Paper is one of the most recycled materials, pulp from recycled paper is used to make new paper and lots of other paper related materials and products.

Old paper is a non-hazardous so can be put into the standard recycling service at the curb side. There are many companies that collect, securely shred and paper in bulk but this is a chargeable service usually reserved for companies and businesses.

The easiest way to recycle paper and magazines is to pop them in your residential recycling bin but you can also take waste paper for recycling to the local household waste recycling site, local council and authorities provide a skip or bin to dump your old paper. You can also tip letters, bills and personal paperwork but it is highly recommended that you shred or deface any personal paperwork for identity safety prior to recycling this type of paper.
