Some areas have garden waste collection bins provided by local council or the authorities. You can only put garden waste in these bins. The garden waste accepted is things like grass clippings, windfall fruit, small branches, leaves and plants but not soil.
If you have a large amount of garden waste that is more than can fit in a regular recycling bin then you can take it along to the local household recycling site near you. Once you arrive at the tip you will find a skip designated to garden waste, to dump your garden waste. Some waste collection companies offer a chargeable service for all waste including from the garden.
